What we collect
If you create an account: your name and email address. From everyone: your search queries and your IP address, the latter solely to apply rate limits and to detect abuse. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Provider information
The provider records shown here are public federal records, not information we collected about you. Some providers — particularly sole proprietors — have registered what is effectively a home address as their practice location. CMS treats these records as disclosable under FOIA and publishes them in full.
NPPES is the system of record. Corrections must be made at nppes.cms.hhs.gov and will flow through to us on the next monthly load. If you believe your record presents a genuine safety concern, contact us and we will discuss suppression.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted on request. Query logs are retained for a short period for abuse detection, then discarded.
