Terms of use

The data

This service republishes public United States federal datasets, principally the NPPES Data Dissemination file and CMS public provider enrollment files. The data is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or currency. Providers self-report to NPPES; records are frequently stale or incorrect, and we do not correct them.

Issuance of an NPI does not ensure or validate that a health care provider is licensed or credentialed.

How you may not use it

You may not use this service as the sole basis for any credentialing, privileging, employment, payment, enrollment, or exclusion decision. Verify against the primary source before acting.

This service is not a consumer reporting agency and its output is not a consumer report as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not use it for any purpose regulated by the FCRA, including employment screening or tenancy decisions.

You may not scrape, systematically harvest, or bulk-resell the data through this service. The underlying federal files are public domain and free to download directly from CMS — take them from the source, not from us.

Accounts

A free account is required to export results. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, evade rate limits, or breach these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevHealth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this service, and total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
